Tuesday Talk: A Solution for Picky Eaters?

Posted by Belina Lizarzabal on

As a mom of a picky eater, I used to get desperate and anxious when it was time to feed my son, especially when he was 2 years old.

After trying different recipes, types of food, plates, and different places around my home to feed him, with barely any luck, I realized I needed to develop a functional product that could save my tough routine of feeding, and make it enjoyable for my son.

And that is how our Just Like Me Collection was born: a series of plates and placemats featuring the kid’s face, that can be customized with different hair styles, hair colors and ethnicities to match your own kid's looks.

Spark & Spark's Personalized Plates are made or BPA-free melamine, and are virtually indestructible. They come in two sizes: 10 inches and 8 inches in diameter.

The Personalized Placemats for Kids feature a fun back design that includes a colorful ABC with foods by the letter, the numbers from 1 to 10, and little games like tic tac toe and connect the dots.

They are available in different color options, and you can also customize them with your child’s name and physical attributes, choosing from different hairstyles, hair colors and skin colors, to make them truly look like him or her. They are made of 17.5-mil synthetic material, and are laminated for easy clean-up. They can be put in the dishwasher, but I prefer for hand wash them with soapy water.

So if you have a picky eater at home, may be a personalized Just Like Me Plate or Placemat will do the trick!
