Summer Fun: DIY Sidewalk Chalk Paint

In our third week of summer break, my kids have already started telling me they are bored. In an effort to keep them entertained this week I thought a fun project would be to have them help me make some sidewalk chalk paint and then to play with their creation!It was a ton of fun and super easy to make:

1 cup cornstarch

1 cup water

Food coloring

I measured out the cornstarch and water and let me kids dump them in a small mixing bowl and stir until all the cornstarch had dissolved. I then poured the mix into 3 bowls and let my kids drop in food coloring drops to color the mixture. We grabbed a couple of paint brushes and had a blast!
